Fly Fishing

Join us for our specialty fly fishing day camp or reach out to us about booking a private trip! Whether you’ve been fly fishing for years or never cast a fly rod before, we’ll help you develop your skills and introduce you to all fly fishing has to offer. We’ll teach inexperienced anglers how to cast and tie essential knots so that by the end of the week, you’ll be be prepared to enjoy Roanoke’s abundance of fly fishing opportunities for years to come! Experienced anglers will hone their skills and learn how to target different species on the fly.
The Roanoke area offers a wide variety of fly fishing opportunities, with access to cold water species like trout as well as warm water game fish such as smallmouth and largemouth bass. We’ll target everything from largemouth in private ponds to native brook trout in small mountain streams.
Campers will also learn how to tie their own flies and catch fish on their own patterns and designs. Join us for what is sure to be a great week chasing fish on the fly!
