Traditional Fishing Camp at Christchurch School

While Christchurch will no longer be holding it's Summer Camps on the River, we are still running our overnight fishing camps out of Christchurch School in the summer of 2019. Essentially nothing will change with our fishing programs, except that we will have a little more flexibility in where and when we fish and with the structure of the week.

The 6 night / 7 day traditional camp at Christchurch offers campers of all fishing abilities the opportunity to explore some of Virginia's best waters while honing their angling skills. Located in an ideal setting along the Rappahannock River, the camp allows for both fresh and saltwater fishing throughout the week.

In our Traditional Overnight Fishing Camp program at Christchurch, campers experience a wide array of angling opportunities from fishing private, freshwater ponds for largemouth bass, crappie, and sunfish, to our "River Monster Day" fishing for giant flathead catfish, to a day on the Chesapeake Bay fishing for spot, croaker, flounder, and bluefish.

The camp is ideal for beginners as well as those with plenty of fishing experience with instruction from experienced counselors and serious anglers sure to make their fishing better when they get home.
